At the Anthony Louis Center and our On-belay house, we provide specialized substance use disorder treatment for adolescents aged 12 to 18. Our focused approach is rooted in the understanding that the needs of teenagers navigating substance use can be distinct from those of adults.

Our programs, which include residential and intensive outpatient services, are designed to address the complexities of adolescent substance use and any co-occurring mental health diagnoses. The term "On-Belay," borrowed from the sport of mountain climbing, signifies our commitment to providing secure support for the teens in our care. Our goal is to equip young individuals with the skills necessary to manage life's challenges without turning to substance use.

We offer a comprehensive continuum of care designed to meet the complex needs of adolescents and their families. Our services are initiated with a thorough, comprehensive assessment to identify substance use disorders and any co-occurring mental health concerns, which informs the development of an individualized treatment plan. Our integrated programs include a range of services tailored to the specific needs of the individual. 


We provide various levels of outpatient treatment, including intensive outpatient programs, designed to offer significant support while allowing adolescents to continue with their daily lives, as well as an after-school program that can be utilized via Tela Health. 


For those requiring a more structured setting, residential services are available as well.

This group recognized a critical need for specialized care in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul and rose to meet the challenge, creating a vital resource for teens and their families.
